The Lord continues to open doors for believers to use their gifts in ways that strengthen and edify the body of Christ. One of the greatest blessings for us at Manifest Theological Institute has been the opportunity to serve as an international representative for the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling and the National Christian Counselors Association.

Through this partnership, we are able to train men and women who feel called by God to become licensed Christian counselors. Many believers have a passion to help others, minister to hurting people, and walk alongside those who need encouragement, wisdom, and healing. Yet, for many, the traditional path through state licensure is not the direction God has placed on their hearts. They desire to counsel from a biblical perspective and to minister through the gifts God has given them.

We are grateful to be able to provide that opportunity.

Scripture reminds us in 1 Peter 4:10, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” Every believer has been given gifts by God, and those gifts were never intended to remain dormant. They are meant to be developed, cultivated, and used in service to others.

Likewise, Ephesians 4:11-12 teaches that God gave ministry gifts “for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” At the heart of this partnership is that very purpose: equipping believers so they can fulfill their calling and strengthen the people around them.

At Manifest Theological Institute, we have the privilege of helping students gain practical counseling skills while remaining rooted in biblical truth and spiritual growth. Students are not only trained in principles of Christian counseling, but they are also encouraged to understand that counseling is ministry. It is an opportunity to reflect the love, wisdom, compassion, and healing power of Christ to those who are hurting.

For me personally, this partnership is deeply meaningful because it reflects the work God has called me to do throughout my life. My life’s work has always been centered on edifying the body of Christ. Whether through education, mentoring, leadership development, or ministry, every program I have created has been designed with one purpose in mind: to help people discover who God has called them to be and to equip them to walk fully in that calling.

There are so many people in the body of Christ who possess tremendous gifts but simply need an opportunity, training, and encouragement to develop them. We are honored that through our partnership with the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling and the National Christian Counselors Association, we are able to help make that possible.

Romans 12:6 reminds us, “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them.” We believe this is a season for believers to rise up, embrace their gifts, and use them for the glory of God.

We are thankful for this partnership, thankful for the students God continues to send, and thankful to serve as vessels in His hands. Our prayer is that every person who comes through our program will leave more equipped, more confident, and more prepared to use their gifts to bring healing, hope, and encouragement to the body of Christ.
